Case study · NHL · 32 arenas · 7 broadcast platforms

From the arena to every broadcast, traced on a map.

Every arena beacon bunch is a node. Every authenticated feed to a rights-holder is an edge. Filter by platform, inspect any arena, and see exactly how an NHL game travels from centre ice to your screen.

Arenas = Nodes

32 NHL venues, each a PWM beacon bunch.

Platforms = Hubs

7 broadcasters, each with its own HQ.

Feeds = Edges

Authenticated game streams, coloured per platform.

Four steps to a verifiable broadcast

Each step maps to a tangible mockup in the platform.

STEP 01

Deploy a beacon bunch per arena

Each of the 32 NHL arenas gets a cluster of Lightmark PWM emitters — at centre ice, over the benches, in the press box. The bunch signs every camera angle the moment the puck drops.

Every arena becomes a node on the network map.

STEP 02

Capture authentic game content

Broadcast cameras, ref-cams, bench-cams — any Lightmark-enabled capture picks up the arena’s signature frame by frame. No extra crew, no extra pipeline: it just happens at the speed of light.

Each capture is tagged to its originating arena node.

STEP 03

Distribute across 7 platforms

Feeds fan out to ESPN+, TNT Sports, ABC/Hulu, Sportsnet, TVA Sports, Prime Video, and NHL Network. Every route is drawn as an edge from the arena node to the broadcaster hub — coloured per platform, filterable on demand.

Edges = content streams, coloured per distributor.

STEP 04

Verify any clip in under a second

A rights-holder, a sportsbook or a league integrity team uploads a clip. The Lightmark CV engine decodes the carrier, matches it to the arena graph, and returns a tamper-evident authenticity report.

One traced path proves arena, route, and timestamp.
